You get one chance to make a good first impression. In the case of this entryway, we wanted to create a welcoming moment upon entering to give guests a taste of things to come throughout the rest of the home. A soft rug, lamps, and artwork set an inviting tone, while a bench provides a spot to remove your boots on a snowy day. And, of course, a furry friend keeps an eye on arrivals and departures.

Maximizing storage and functionality in a space without compromising beauty involves a dance between form and function. First and foremost, a space has to be functional while simultaneously taking advantage of the opportunities for focal points and standout design elements. We love using custom cabinetry and millwork to make the most of our kitchen design because they add personality and practicality to the space. In this ktichen, we utilized storage devices where needed and designed a custom metal hood and gray-blue island to add visual interest against the white cabinetry.
